So how do we treat broken veins? We offer a treatment called laser photo-facial skin rejuvenation. This works by emitting light energy to areas of the skin with red lesions – which tend to include broken veins. The treatment works because the heat from the laser tightens the skin and closes open pores, which in turn creates collagen and elastin. After the treatment, patients can expect their broken veins to look more prominent for a period of approximately 10 – 14 days. Once this period has passed, this fades dramatically, leaving smoother and clearer skin.
