If you’re passionate about your skin, like many of my patient, you may be on a personalised skin plan that combines different procedures to deliver you the ultimate skin transformation. But what are the rules on mixing treatments and how soon can you get microneedling after your botox? Can you do them on the same day or should you wait between the two procedures? Yes, you should definitely wait. But not because either of them would be risky. So let see what is the reason?
How soon can you get microneedling after botox?
Your practitioner should advise you to allow at least 2 weeks to pass between your botox and micro needling treatments. The reason is quite simple. Your botox needs up to 14 days to settle and absurd into your muscle tissue. Any strenuous exercise should be avoided for the first 24 hours. And other facial procedures, even mildly invasive, such as microdermabrasions, microneedling, chemical peels, or any type of facial should be avoided for up to 14 days.
After 2 weeks you are able to resume with your micro needling course and enjoy the benefits of the combination of the 2 procedures, which will include a more smoother, tighter and glowing skin.
