DermaFrac is a multi-stage facial treatment designed to improve the visible condition of your skin while keeping discomfort and recovery time to a minimum.
Unlike deeper forms of microneedling, DermaFrac uses shallow, controlled micro-channels alongside gentle vacuum assistance. At the same time, a serum chosen for your skin is delivered across the treatment area.
Your treatment also includes crystal-free microdermabrasion to remove dull surface buildup and LED light therapy selected according to your needs.
This makes DermaFrac particularly appealing when you want more than a traditional facial but are not looking for the intensity or downtime associated with a deeper corrective procedure.

As the handpiece moves across your skin, your selected serum is delivered simultaneously. This is an important difference between DermaFrac and a standard facial. The serum is not simply applied to the surface at the end. It forms part of the micro-channeling stage itself. Your appointment finishes with LED light therapy. Although both treatments involve needling technology, they are not interchangeable. DermaFrac uses shallow micro-channeling with simultaneous serum infusion. It is generally chosen when your priorities include hydration, brightness, surface texture and a quick return to normal activities. Dermapen 4 is a more intensive microneedling treatment. It can work at adjustable depths and may be more suitable for concerns such as deeper acne scarring, more noticeable textural damage or advanced signs of skin ageing. You do not need to decide which one to book before your consultation. Your practitioner will assess your skin and explain which approach is most likely to support your goals safely. Your practitioner will begin by checking your skin and confirming that it is suitable to treat that day. Your skin will then be cleansed before the crystal-free exfoliation stage begins. After exfoliation, the vacuum-assisted DermaFrac handpiece is passed methodically across the treatment area while your selected serum is infused. Your appointment finishes with a personalised LED session. The complete procedure usually takes approximately 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the areas treated and the needs of your skin. You may feel gentle suction and a light prickling sensation during the micro-channeling stage. Most clients find the procedure comfortable, and anaesthetic is not usually required. Most people can return to their usual routine immediately. However, “minimal downtime” does not mean your skin is guaranteed to look completely unchanged.
