What is Keratosis pilaris?

This benign skin condition causes the skin to become rough and bumpy with a pimply appearance. It is commonly found on the body but can also appear on the face, often causing white bumps or pimples under the eyes. It is caused when hair follicles become blocked by keratin plugs, the protein that your body uses to create hair, skin, nails, and dead skin cells.
