Getting the right treatments and products

At Skin Perfection we only offer 'cosmeceutical' grade or medical grade skin care products. These are ones that have active ingredients that penetrate under the skin.

We avoid using the kind of non-cosmeceutical products that can be bought from certain department stores or salons. Because these products contain ingredients that are not active enough, they simply sit on top of your skin and have no affect on the root of the problem.

We make sure that, as a patient embarking on a skin care treatment plan in clinic, you maintain and maximise the results of your treatment by having the correct products selected by your skin specialist, following a thorough skin-health check.

Treatments for lines, wrinkles and ageing skin

At Skin Perfection, we offer the following treatments for the signs of ageing skin. During your consultation, your specialist will discuss the range of options available and will make sure you have the treatment that is most suitable for you.

Botox wrinkle-relaxing injections - non-surgical treatment for moderate to severe facial lines and wrinkles. (It is also used for hyperhidrosis - excessive sweating - and for migraines to reduce tension headaches.)

Dermal fillers - injectable treatments that use hyaluronic acid (a substance, produced by the body, that we gradually lose as we get older) to instantly restore skin volume. They helps fill lines, wrinkles and folds, re-defining areas of the face, the lips, hollows including under-eye bags and the backs of the hands - giving you that fresher look you have always wanted.

Laser photo-facial skin rejuvenation - improves skin tone and texture for a more youthful look, and is suitable for a range of conditions including sun damage, wide and localised areas of pigmentation (discolouration), rosacea, redness and inflammation, and visible (or broken) veins; with minimal downtime.

Micro-needling - used as a stand-alone treatment or as part of a four-stage process to help reduce lines, wrinkles, open pores and acne scarring, and treat dry and dehydrated skin - leaving your skin looking fresher and smoother. With three treatment options: our state-of-the-art Dermafrac machine (minimal downtime), a Dermaroller (slightly longer downtime) or Dermapen.

Skin peels or resurfacers - help to improve skin texture and redefine pores, and suitable for a range of conditions including pigmentation (discolouration), scars left by ingrown hairs, lines and wrinkles, redness or rosacea and acne; available in different strengths and with different downtimes, according to your skin condition as well as time, financial or social commitments.

A combination of any of the above treatments may be suitable - after your consultation, your Skin Perfection specialist may discuss combining some of these treatment options to maximize your results.
